The most impressive part of this Blu-ray player is that it has an enormous amount of features to play with. The physical features of the Samsung BD-C5500 Blu-ray Disc Player is also very unique as it is a smaller player, but is still more powerful than most of the other Blu Ray players. It is somewhat heavier, which usually means there is a lot more equipment packed into a nice compact case. I also have grown to love the buttons on the front since they are touch sensitive and this can help you avoid a broken button which tends to happen a lot with my electronics. If you’re like me and don’t like to get up once a movie is started then you will love how the remote is easy to use and can find the player at almost any distance and angle I have needed. The player has an on-board USB slot, so playing different multimedia devices on my player is one of the things that I do often and love the fact that I get this option.

One of the best features that the Samsung BD-C5500 Blu-ray Disc Player offers its user is the ability it has to play streaming content. I personally love the Netflix service it offers and has much better quality than if you were to stream a Netflix move directly from your computer. By the way Samsung BD-C5500 has been voted one of the Best Blu Ray Players With Netflix 2012. – Pandora is another streaming service that I use quite often and the audio quality is actually pretty amazing especially since the player uses Dolby True HD. One major complaint I have with Blu-Ray players is the long buffer times, but with the Samsung BD-C5500 Blu-ray Disc Player the buffering seems to be almost non-existent or at least very unnoticeable. As far as the actually player goes it is one of the better players I have ever used and for a number of reasons. The first is the load time which has aggravated me in the past, but this Blu-Ray player has an ultra-fast load time. If you have a lot of standard DVD movies than you will be happy to know that the picture quality actually comes pretty close to high definition. When playing an actual Blu-Ray movie the picture quality was superb and the audio was just as fantastic.

I have owned quite a few of Blu-Ray players and I have to say that the Samsung BD-C5500 Blu-ray Disc Player is one of the best. It has a futuristic and attractive look, it is an easy player to operate, is loaded with as many features as you can stand, and is capable of taking care of all your entertainment needs. The price is a little bit higher than a lot of other players, but is worth the price because of the high quality of the player.
