I’ve heard nothing but raving reviews for the Padanasonic HDC-SD90K, so when it came time for us to purchase a new camcorder, there was no question in my mind as to which one it would be. I needed a full HD camcorder with great video qualities and the Panasonic HDC truly delivered. This is why I decided to write a HDC-SD90K Review.
It Is Perfect For Capturing Special Moments
There’s nothing like live video to capture memories, special moments and big events. I wanted to make sure that if I captured something on video it will last forever. I remember back in the “ancient” times when VHS recording was standard, how often the video tapes would eventually start to scratch up or wouldn’t play correctly. Film could easily be exposed to light and dirt, and eventually your footage is lost forever. But nowadays, you can easily record and transfer video images to a memory card. Preserving it forever and making it easily accessible for uploads and transfers. Your footage can be available on more than one source. That’s one of many qualities the Panasonic HDC-SD90K has, just make sure you have your own memory card as the package doesn’t come with one.
In addition, I really like the high definition picture that this camcorder produces. Because of elements like intelligent 40X zoom, hybrid optical image stabilizer, and full HD 1920×1080 60 progressive recording, images always come out so sharp and smooth. The motions captured by the camcorder are absolutely brilliant. I’ve never experienced such clarity before. It’s also great at capturing the little intricate details like texture and movement.
Crystal Engine Pro and Intelligent Resolution Technology
Crystal engine Pro and Intelligent Resolution Technology makes zoomed images crisp and clear. Even though the optical zoom during image capture is limited, once the image is captured you can zoom even further into the details.
Capturing crisp and audible sound from your target subject is possible withNoise Reduction Technology and Zoom Mic feature. Your images will no longer be infiltrated with background noise and bustling winds. The audio you capture will be just as clear as the image. -> Read what other customers have to say – CLICK HERE
One of my favorite features is the Scene Mode which automatically chooses the most appropriate shutter speed and aperture for the environment. It makes capturing videos in any environment almost effortless. It doesn’t matter if you’re in snow, heat, winter, fall, or low lighting; the Panasonic HDC-SD90K does the work for you so that you don’t have to. I wasn’t always good at getting the settings right for a particular lighting or scenery, so having this feature greatly helps in enhancing the images. Panasonic HDC SD90K- Features and Review Video
This product was a really well worth the investment. I can see myself using it years from now. And it’s not as pricey as you think something of that quality would usually be. I believe I got this one for a little less than $350. Not bad if you ask me. It’s well built and at the same time, compact. So you don’t have to worry about lugging around heavy equipment to capture your special moments. This camcorder is only 2 pounds! Seeing what it can do and the great video that it produces, I probably wouldn’t even mind paying double for the Panasonic HDC-SD90K camcorder. Highly recommended many times over.
So if you are about buying Samsung SMX-F50BN SD Camcorder and you want to have my advice on whether you should get it or not: GET IT! But let’s start with the beginning and how and when I got SMX-F50BN and have a look at some of the features of this camcorder. It all started with the YouTube video I’d come across. You see, I’m a music junkie. I love watching random, budding artistes post covers of various songs. Like that acoustic maestro, Andy Mckee. So yes, I was watching a video of this really talented guitarist play the sh*t out of the instrument. But it wasn’t only the music that blew me away. Because for pretty much the first time ever, an amateur had produced an incredibly sharp, very well defined, crystal clear video. And as corny as it sounds, I was blown away. I had to find out what he was using to record such breath taking clips. -
So I dropped him a PM. And the next day, he replied telling me he’d bought the Samsung SMX-F50BN Camcorder. I took one look at the details of the product and I was completely won over. And now, I’m thoroughly pleased to say I’m a proud owner of this wonderful camcorder. -
Now that I’ve been using it for a while, I’ve decided to write up a Samsung SMX-F50BN review for anyone who might be looking for a smashing new camcorder. A Samsung SMX-F50BN SD Camcorder. My First Impression
I’ll take it from the top. After ripping apart the package in sheer excitement, I installed the software disk that comes with the Samsung SMX-F50BN. To my pleasant surprise, it was dead simple to start it up. Plus, the interface of the software is very user friendly. It’d be a breeze for anyone who’s not the biggest fan of technology. -> Find out what other customers are saying - CLICK HERE
Easy To Learn And Use
Once all this was done, I started tinkering around with the Samsung SMX-F50BN SD Camcorder itself. Like the software, it’s very easy to learn how to use it. To put it bluntly, it’s idiot-proof. Furthermore, the buttons are just the right size. To date, I’ve not accidently pressed the wrong buttons at the wrong time. It just makes the experience a lot more enjoyable.
Of course, once play time was over, I decided to get a tad more serious and start some shootin’! And guess what? It blew me away. For a very modest $149, it was effortlessly producing DVD quality videos. Crystal clear. Very well defined. Nothing too fancy, but definitely great value for money.
Connecting Samsung SMX-F50BN To TV – NO PROBLEM AT ALL!
Hooking up the Samsung SMX-F50BN SD Camcorder to my TV was a breeze as well. I’d have expected this to be a tricky process. But it’s really just a matter of plug-in and play. Exactly what I was hoping for. For the family person, this’d make you highly memorable home videos. Stuff like your kid’s first steps. I’m guessing this was what Samsung had in mind when they released Samsung SMX-F50BN SD Camcorder. It’s really a phenomenal encapsulation of the “perfect la familia camcorder”. -
Here are a couple of additional features you’d might want to take note of as well. The Samsung SMX-F50BN comes with a portable memory card. So if you want to flaunt your new creations, you don’t have to take the camcorder along (though my bet is you still would). -
Furthermore, it isn’t operated by an internal battery. So it’s literally dead simple to change the batteries as well. -
In fact, the only downside I can think of is that it doesn’t come with a tripod. Because if you want to shoot something really fancy, you’d have to set it up on a tripod. Or the video would end up being a little too shaky for your liking. By the way you alsow want to check out my other camcorder review at Panasonic HDC-SD90K 3D Review.
But hey, as I said, the Samsung SMX-F50BN is amazing value for money. Overall rating? A very healthy 4.5/5.
