Have you ever fallen in love with something that couldn’t love you back? Well in my case, I have. But don’t worry; this story doesn’t end in heartbreak or shed tears, but rather in endless hours of great movie watching experience. I purchased the Sony BDP CX7000ES a few months ago as a gift to myself after getting promoted at the office. Otherwise, there was no way I would spend as much as I did on the unit if I too, wasn’t getting an upgrade in my income.
This Blu Ray Disc Changer Is Really Impressing!
There is absolutely nothing I don’t like about the Sony BDP CX7000ES. Everything from its size to its features is very impressive. I would have to deem it the ultimate media player, and not just because it can play and organize up to 400 different discs and CDs, but also because it’s the only thing you need in a home entertainment and theater system.
A couple of main features that I would like to point out:
First off, it’s capability to hold up to 400 Blu-Ray discs, DVDs and CDs is amazing. I don’t personally think a lot of people have that massive of a collection, but if you’re a movie lover like me then it won’t be long until you’ve reached that limit. I’m more than halfway there.
You’re able to download the cover, title, category and other movie information onto an onscreen display. This makes it easy to sort and search through all your movies.
In addition, the Sony BDP-CX7000ES has all the same capabilities of traditional Blu-Ray disc player; which includes HD audio support, full HD 1080p video output, BD-live access and can upgrade the quality of DVDs to near HD images.
It’s compatible with any type of audio system because of the 7.1 channel analog output.
Loading and ejecting discs is so quick and easy. You can literally watch another movie in less than two seconds. Only a fraction of the time it usually takes if you have a regular single disc player.
The picture quality is absolutely amazing. It’s so clear and the images are so vibrant; it makes watching movies so much more enjoyable.
It’s easy to set up and use. I just took a quick scan of the instruction manual before I experimented with the unit. Setting up the menus and navigating through the different features was not at all difficult. Actually, I think the most difficult (and tedious) part of the whole set up process was just loading the discs. And I only have about 220, what more if you had all 400.
What Other Buyers Saying
Overall, this thing does store 399 of my movies (not 400 because of that rental slot), picked up the names of all of them, and seems to work as advertised.
If you are a home theater freek like me, you know the hassles of storing dvd/bd close to your player. This unit solves this problem while keeping disks clean,in order with pic of cover. The quality of play back is well ahead of any BD player I have seen. Buy one, You will love it!
I have hundreds of discs in several different formats. This device helped me to store and organize them all together with easy access and the familiar Sony Xcross navigation.
Overall, the Sony BDP-CX7000ES delivers in every single aspect when it comes to providing excellent quality, convenience and performance. Like I said, what’s not to like about this unit? And it also comes with a 5 year limited warranty on all parts and labor. So if anything were to go wrong, then Sony fixes it for free. I’ve had mine for just over a month, and so far so good.
I remember those days when we had about a dozen types of players on our entertainment center. Every shelf was filled with all sorts of electronics; there was a VCR (we still hadn’t gotten rid of it), a DVD player, a Blu-Ray disc player, a CD player, a stereo, a cable box, and anything else you can imagine that comes in the form of a rectangular prism. It was an impressive view from the front, but once you get back behind the entertainment center, it was a hodgepodge of wires, cables, plugs and sockets; a vision similar to that of Medusa’s hair. If fire ever broke out in our home, I think the culprit would be the electronics.
Listen To Music And Watch Movies – Marantz UD5005 Does It All!
Fortunately these days, manufacturers have become more and more innovative and compact with their products. It’s common to find a lot of units that have a 2-in-1, 3-in-1, or even 6-in-1 functions. Now you can listen to music and watch movies from any sort of disc on one player. I recently purchased the Marantz UD5005 Blu-ray disc player. It’s not what you’d call cheap, but its high quality and versatility is what makes it worth every penny. And it’s pretty comparable in price when you’re comparing it with other brand name electronics.
The Marantz UD5005 has a ton of great features that makes it the perfect player. I’m also able to watch some of my favorite movies in 3D. It’s just like watching in the theaters but I’m in the comforts of my own home; which makes it even better. Not only does it have the capability to play Blu-Rays, but also regular DVDs. It does an absolute splendid job converting the DVD pictures into HD quality. The images are clearer, bright and more detailed on the Marantz player. Even though Blu-Rays are far more superior to DVDs, I like that I have the option of being able to watch the DVDs on my Blu-Ray player. Not to mention; converting all my movies in to Blu-Ray will take time and money that I’m not willing to spend at this moment.
And It Is Getting Even Better!
In addition to producing awesome images and pictures, the Marantz can also play CDs of any variety; regular music CD, a copied or burned CD, an image CD, etc. And it has one of the most incredible sound productions I’ve ever experienced. It’s so crisp and crystal clear; you can literally hear everything. Everything but background noise that is, which is also a good thing. When I hooked it up to my speakers, it really enhanced the quality of the surround sound. Definitely a great feature to have, especially when playing soft background music during parties or dinners with friends and families.

Most people will want to know this first so here it is – The video quality is fantastic! Drop your Blu-Ray in it and enjoy! it is that simple.
Now about the product, it looks really good, it has a beautifil stance sort of like a BMW M3, one look at it and you know its a powerful player. It produces a crystal clear sound and wont bump or overheat, its consistent CD after CD, Blue Ray after Blue Ray.
Been waiting for a replacement for my Denon universal DVD that only had component outputs. Picture was already beautiful on my Runco DLP out of the box and through the HDMI. I knew it had the capability of playing Netflix and that works fine. Plays all my DVD audio and my SACD’s as well.
I’d recommend the Marantz to anyone who’s looking for an upgrade. It is definitely an awesome electronic device that would work well with almost any entertainment or home theater system. It’s built for durability and features an attractive and sleek exterior. So far, it’s been one of my best purchases this year and will probably remain so for the next couple of years. I really don’t see this one going out anytime soon. I’ve already had it for 3 months and it works as perfectly as the first day I got it.
I was looking for the best Blu-Ray player to give my aunt for her birthday. Since she has only recently joined the bandwagon of Blu-Ray viewers and still has a lot of DVDs in her movie library, a player that can accommodate both types of discs would be preferable. Also I didn’t want to get her something too high tech or complicated to use. Something simple and basic would be fine, but added features such as internet video streaming, ability to access popular apps such as Netflix and a good audio production would also be great.
The Perfect Blu Ray Player For My Wallet And Needs
I came across the Sony BDP S185 Blu-Ray disc player and immediately knew that it was the right one. First and foremost, what got my attention was the price. I only paid $75 for a new one; a really great deal, considering the brand and model. It was black with a sleek and thin design featuring minimal buttons, which would make a great addition to her entertainment center. Also, it’s very lightweight and the set up is pretty simple and straightforward. So she shouldn’t have a problem at all getting everything plugged in and ready to go.
Features That Have To Be Pointed Out
We decided to throw my aunt a surprise birthday dinner at her favorite restaurant and that’s where I gave her my gift. She was very excited when she unwrapped the present and couldn’t wait to get home and try it. After a few weeks, this is what she had to say about the Sony BDP S185:
It was easy to assemble and easy to use. Within less than 10 minutes, the player was set up and ready to start playing movies. She didn’t even ask for any assistance from my uncle.
Loading the movies took less than 3 seconds, literally. Sometimes it was even faster. This was definitely a huge upgrade to her old DVD player, which took at least a minute from the time she loaded the disc to the time the movie would start playing
She absolutely loves the internet streaming features and has gotten addicted toNetflix and YouTube, which may or may not be a good. I don’t know. Now she doesn’t have to wait to watch her favorite movies, and not feeling obligated to buy Blu-Ray movies will save her a lot of money.
The Sony BDP-S185 Blu-Ray Disc Player really does an awesome job upscaling the image quality of her DVDs as well as displaying high definition resolution for any discs. The picture is brilliant and brighter than before. It makes watching movies a more pleasant experience.
It doesn’t take up as much power as a traditional DVD player. Even though she watches more movies more often now than before, her electric bill has gone up at all. It was actually lower this past month. I told her it was because that the Sony was Energy Star Compliant which makes it more energy efficient.

What Other Buyers Are Saying
If you are looking for a Blu-ray player that provides access to Netflix, Pandora and a host of other streaming media, then Sony has the device for you.
All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase and feel that at the current price it is a great bargain. Just keep in mind that it will NOT work on WiFi
Overall, this is a fantastic machine if you don’t need all the frills, bells and whistles of other higher end machines. It plays great, it’s light, it looks sleek, and feels sturdy. I would definitely recommend this player, especially for people just getting into blu rays!
So needless to say, she really likes the Sony BDP S185. If I didn’t already have a sophisticated home theater system, I’d get me one as well. And the best part is that if you act now you canget Sony BDP S185 for $81.25. I have no idea how long this special price will last, so I suggest you acto NOW – CLICK HERE
Sometimes you just want a Blu-ray disc player that does just that, play Blu-ray discs. A couple of models out there that have a whole bunch of features that you’ll probably never use, or can’t figure out how to use; which can be a little intimidating for someone who’s just starting out. That’s why I like the Panasonic DMP BD75 Blu-ray disc player.
A High Quality And Dependable Blu Ray Player
If you’re looking for a quality and dependable Blu-ray disc player, then look no further than a Panasonic DMP BD75. It has all the basic features of a Blu-ray disc player plus it’s compatible with DVDs. I’ve had this player for a couple of months now and I’ve never had a problem with it. There’s no freezing, no glitches and no stuck discs. Our old Blu-ray player didn’t even last a whole two months before it started to experience all those problems. At one point, when the player stopped working altogether I disassembled the entire thing and found 4 DVDs inside. No wonder it stopped working. But how in the word did 4 DVDs manage to harbor inside a single disc player, I have no idea.
So when it came time to purchase a new one, I wanted to make sure it wasn’t going to end up the same way as our previous player; in the trash. What first drew me to the Panasonic DMP BD75 was its very reasonable price. It costs only $95 (and it coses even less, if you take advantage of this special: Get it now for $69! – CLICK HERE) ; which was a whole hundred dollars less than our old one. Once we got it home, I set it up right away. I didn’t even have to read the manual because it was pretty straight forward. Plug one end into the socket and the other into the TV, and voila; you’re ready to watch movies.
Super Fast Booting
One of the best things about this player would have to be its fast booting and start up. I’ve never experienced a player that can load movies in so quickly. You won’t even have time to pop the popcorn or use the bathroom once you put in the disc, before the movie starts to play. So you better do all that stuff beforehand. I also like how simple it is using the remote control cursor when it comes to navigating and choosing different menu options.
Picture Quality Is Amazing!
The picture quality you get with the Panasonic is amazing. It’s so clear and very detailed; the images are definitely high definition and even with our DVDs. It does a great job converting DVD images into high definition picture. The fact that this player is also compatible for streaming movies, shows and other content is a great bonus. Although we’ve yet to use it, it’s good to know that if we ever wanted to try it we can.
What Other Customers Are Saying
I just needed a solid Blue Ray DVD player – to play DVDs. I bought this off the shelf at Target for $99, plugged it in and it worked great. I liked the very quick start up from the time you put the disc in until it is playing on the screen. Excellent picture. Super slim and attractive body.
This is an excellent no-frills Blu-ray player that doesn’t require a degree in electronics or digital media to set up and use IMMEDIATELY. The picture quality was MUCH better than I expected for playing DVDs; one would expect excellent clarity for a Blu-ray disc, but I was truly impressed with the clarity of the picture rendered from DVDs.
It’s priced right, it works great! It is as fast as it claims and it does not have a way to connect to the internet wirelessly. So if your expectations are to buy a solid bluray/dvd player and not much more. Buy this one. If you want netflix streaming I would buy one with wi-fi already built in. Easy to set-up.
The Panasonic DMP BD75 is such a great investment. It performs well and is very dependable. So far no fugitive DVDs or Blu-Ray discs have been discovered hiding out in its exterior, so that’s a really good sign for me. If this player can last a long time, then I don’t see myself upgrading to a new one until the Panasonic DMP BD75 decides to retire. Highly recommended.
Panasonic DMP-BD75 Price
Ok… as mentioned before, Panasonic DMP-BD75 is low priced anyway. However, here is a super special price: You can now get it for under $70 if you ACT NOW
I have been thinking of giving up my current Blu-ray player whose main function is to merely spin discs. And only that for quite some time now. In my research, I came across this intriguing BD player from Panasonic, the DMP-BDT220.
You won’t notice any difference in the design of the Panasonic DMP-BDT220 compared to the other brands. The player’s design followed what have been popular with the others, having the full width of 430mm and the 185mm half-depth. But cosmetically speaking, the flap which hides its loading tray, its USB port and SD card reader mounted on the front for media playback is ingenious. And with the player’s back portion, you can find its HDMI, optical digital video and audio outputs.
But It Doesn’t Stop There!
There is also a separate USB port intended for a camera, and an Ethernet port. But the latter might be useless for you, especially nowadays when wired networks is vanishing so fast within our homes – the Panasonic DMP-BDT220 has Wi-Fi readily available for your wireless network. Yes, this player not only allows for internet use, but also has live streaming TV! Plus it is 3D compatible! Now, imagine yourself having a high definition 3D home viewing experience.
I have been having a good time exploring the VIERA Connect feature of the Panasonic DMP-BDT220. It’s this online portal that includes Amazon Streaming, Hulu, and Netflix which have a dedicated button on its remote control. Aside from those three, the deck’s online portal also offers Youtube, BBC iPlayer, CNBC, Euronews, Dailymotion, Ustream, Aupeo!, and Shoutcast. Not only that, with this player there is also Skype, Twitter and Facebook clients, and you can find more on the VIERA.
For the disc popping aspect, I experimented with feeding it with DVD-R, DVD+R DL discs, +RW and –RW rewritables, CD and CD-RWs, and of course of the BD-RE and BD-Rs, and they all worked with this player. I have also tried using a USB disk and I did not have a problem playing my video files in MOV, AVI, MP4 and even MKV formats. Yes, it won’t disappoint you with lacking codecs. Both the video and audio worked great. And The speed is incredible.
For popping in JAVA rich Blu-rays, it will just take less than a minute to load, from the time of loading it into the tray to having it on the screen. Though there are some disc’s which I think might not be that challenging enough for it only took less than 30 seconds to load.
And if you want to personalized your home viewing experience, this player lets you customize your homepage and it has even a multi-user mode for other users customization. Other surprises that this player have is that you can run it not just with the use of a remote control – there is also an app that will let you run things with your player through your tablet or even better through your phone.
As for my viewing experience so far, the colors have been great and the texture is just great. I guess that is due to the Panasonic DMP-BDT220′s Adaptive Chroma Processing. And as for trying 3D Blu-rays, the images appear good too. As for me, giving up my old Blu Ray and going with the new, was a great decision.
What Other Buyers Are Saying
Wow! Hooked up the 220 today to my Panny 1080p LED. Superbien. Beautiful blu ray, and clear, crisp Netflix (watched Cinema Paradiso today with clarity I’ve never seen before). Very, very nice. I’m mostly a simple blu ray, Netflix and Amazon Prime kind of guy and, for me, the 220 and TC-L42E3 are like a marriage made in heaven
The Panasonic BDT220 has the best DVD upconversion, I have ever seen. The upconversion is a close to Blu Ray as you can get. The Blu Ray picture quality is Excellent and the amount of choices for video and audio is unsurpassed. For the price(around $150) the equal of the OPPO 93 ($500).
I am so happy everything with the BDT-220 player works so well, I tested out everything, Blu Ray, DVD, Blu Ray 3D and all the streaming I use, mostly Netflix and Amazon Prime.
I have to say a BIG “THANK YOU PANASONIC !!!”
Personally speaking, having the Panasonic DMP-BDT220 has given me the best picture quality I have experienced yet out of all the Blu-rays and this did not come at a high price.. Well, the BDT220 is just one of the 5 new BD players from Panasonic that has 3D compatibility but, this one is sure to satisfy. I hope you will take the time to check out the BD players from Panasonic.
DMP-BDT220 is indeed an amazing blu ray player and the best part is that it is really affordable. It is priced unter $150.Blu ray players with similar features cost up to $500. If you act now you can save another 10% – CLICK HERE To take advantage of this super discount.
Two weeks back, when I started using the LG BD550 blu ray player, I did not know how satisfying it would make my visual experiences to be. Among the other entry-level blu ray players in the market, I am kind of inclined to this LG model because of the stunning graphics rendering and catchy user interfaces. In addition, the cost was a whopping 100$ less than the step-up models that just had just Wi-Fi as an extra feature and the visual rendering is virtually the same as this one. The design is almost similar to the advanced model – BD570, although the major difference lies in the front panel cover. The BD570 model players had one complete flip-down door whereas the 550s are split into 3 compartments – disc tray on the left most, eject and power buttons in the centre and a flip down door for the right panel buttons. This design looks unique and neat. I could not think of a better remote that I got acquainted with much quicker than that of this. I almost never had problems in finding the buttons without even seeing them. The single USB port is useful for me to quickly view my photos and videos anytime.
The User Interface Is Pretty Good
Although the user interface is not as easy as one of its predecessors BD390, it still stands apart and solves the purpose. The home screen just portrays the high level options like photos, videos and the most interesting one- Netcast. The video streaming services are sorted under the Netcast option because the home screen could not fit in all the available features. All the services under Netcast are above par and especially Netflix streaming is really fast and crystal clear.
Exceptional Netflix Streaming
Finally, it is good to see that at least one player could provide exceptional Netflix streaming. – Because of this feature LG BD550 is listed as the second best Blu Ray Player With Netflix 2012. - YouTube is another interesting feature to stream videos by connecting the blu ray player to the internet cable. It is very exciting to note that the default output of the player is 1080i and there is no need to reconfigure the settings. Vudu is another major addition to the media streaming services in the LG players, which is similar to the Netflix pay-per-view movie viewing concept. Being an entry level blu ray player, the 550 lacks Wi-Fi feature which can be accepted considering the other features like rich online media streaming services.
Blu Ray And Image Rendering Quality
The main pride of the BD550 player is its blu ray and image rendering quality for a basic level player division. The HD movie experience on my BD550 made me feel that this should be the way to watch my favourite movies in high definition. As the manufacturer claims, there is a notable increase in the clarity of DVD images due to “DVD up-scaling”. Another addition to the merits is the real Dolby DTS effect that almost sinks you into the movies. The most pulling factor that I noticed of this player in comparison to the others is the disc load and streaming speeds. It is really quick and sometimes the load time is lesser than other upper models of LG. Even the boot up time for the player is noticeably low and the player seems to be ready before I could return back to my couch.
I’m very pleased with this LG BD550 product. I wanted a product that would (a) play Blu-Ray Discs, and (b) let me watch streaming movies/shows over the internet using my Netflix account. This does both.
The player is very easy to use, and I didn’t even read the written menu. All I did was plugging in the powerline and ethernet cable to my router, playing with the remote, scrolling the various menu up and down, and making some setup choices including network connection and the firmware update. The firmwares did take several minutes to load and update though.
Overall, I highly recommend this, and the price is outstanding. If you are looking for a DVD player, don’t even waste the money on old technology, just get this cheap BluRay player that’ll make your DVDs look so much better.
An incredibly simple user interface and great load speed would compel anyone to buy this entry level blu ray player. Considering the competing products, the LG BD550 blu ray players are definitely worth the money. About The Author Johnnie Olsen
The regular list price of LG BD550 is $249.50. However, you can get it at a special discounted price HERE. In case you are on a tight budget, you can also get a used or refurbished LG BD550 for around $70. If this is what you want to do I highly recommend getting it from Amazon, because third party merchants on Amazon can be 100% trusted. All payments are handeled by Amazon. In this way you can be sure that you will not be scammed and are getting a used blu ray player that works!
Purchasing a Blu-ray player is one of the best ways to enhance any entertainment system. There are so many advantages to owning one that Blu-ray players can turn watching a movie into an interactive experience that you have never experienced before. Purchasing a Blue ray player can be a little overwhelming so understanding what to look for is essential before making a decision on which player to purchase.
Why Is This Samsung Player A Fantastic Choice?
The Samsung BD-C5500 Blu-ray Disc Player is definitely a fantastic choice when you consider all that it has to offer, and even though the cost is a little high (not really if you look at the special discount I found if you scroll down to the bottom of this page!) it is worth every penny if you are a lover of movies and streaming entertainment. The most impressive part of this Blu-ray player is that it has an enormous amount of features to play with. The physical features of the Samsung BD-C5500 Blu-ray Disc Player is also very unique as it is a smaller player, but is still more powerful than most of the other Blu Ray players. It is somewhat heavier, which usually means there is a lot more equipment packed into a nice compact case. I also have grown to love the buttons on the front since they are touch sensitive and this can help you avoid a broken button which tends to happen a lot with my electronics. If you’re like me and don’t like to get up once a movie is started then you will love how the remote is easy to use and can find the player at almost any distance and angle I have needed. The player has an on-board USB slot, so playing different multimedia devices on my player is one of the things that I do often and love the fact that I get this option.
Play Streaming Content
One of the best features that the Samsung BD-C5500 Blu-ray Disc Player offers its user is the ability it has to play streaming content. I personally love the Netflix service it offers and has much better quality than if you were to stream a Netflix move directly from your computer. By the way Samsung BD-C5500 has been voted one of the Best Blu Ray Players With Netflix 2012. – Pandora is another streaming service that I use quite often and the audio quality is actually pretty amazing especially since the player uses Dolby True HD. One major complaint I have with Blu-Ray players is the long buffer times, but with the Samsung BD-C5500 Blu-ray Disc Player the buffering seems to be almost non-existent or at least very unnoticeable. As far as the actually player goes it is one of the better players I have ever used and for a number of reasons. The first is the load time which has aggravated me in the past, but this Blu-Ray player has an ultra-fast load time. If you have a lot of standard DVD movies than you will be happy to know that the picture quality actually comes pretty close to high definition. When playing an actual Blu-Ray movie the picture quality was superb and the audio was just as fantastic.
Overall I feel like the device does a lot for how much I paid for it and is definitely worth the money. I have already recommended it to numerous friends and co-workers who have been looking to get a Blu-ray player. This is the first Blu-ray player I have owned and might possibly be the last since it’s so feature-rich and works so well.
Overall, I’m really happy with the Samsung BD-C5500. I would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a Blu-Ray player. Besides the issue with the one application, everything has worked fine.
I am very pleased with this unit. It worked just fine right out of the box. As someone who has worked in IT all my life, I expected at least some problems connecting to the streaming features. I was pleasantly surprised when the Netflix and Pandora interfaces worked without any setup problems whatsoever. And, by the way, the quality of the video and audio are stunning. Can’t find a reason not to give this unit five stars.
I have owned quite a few of Blu-Ray players and I have to say that the Samsung BD-C5500 Blu-ray Disc Player is one of the best. It has a futuristic and attractive look, it is an easy player to operate, is loaded with as many features as you can stand, and is capable of taking care of all your entertainment needs. The price is a little bit higher than a lot of other players, but is worth the price because of the high quality of the player. Samsung always keeps up with the firmware updates as well so this is a player that I will probably own for a very long time. About The Author Jon Morris
The regular price of Samsung BD-C5500 is $179.99. However, I found a really great deal. Actually I have no idea how long it will last! You can now get this player for an amazing 49% (!!!) off the regular list price. Again: I have no idea how long this offer will last so I suggest you ACT NOW
Panasonic has been a top name brand in the consumer electronics business for decades. Long before it was manufacturing Blu-ray disc players, it was producing top of the line VCRs. This trend of releasing the best home entertainment devices to the consumer market continues with the Panasonic DMP-BD 65 Blu-ray Disc Player. Despite the very low price, this model delivers on sound and picture expectations. It is also packed with many features that contribute to its ability to deliver a really great viewing experience. Read on and find out why this blu ray player is one of the Best Blu Ray Players With Netflix 2012.
What Makes This Player Special?
What is it that sets this Blu-ray player apart from the many other models on the market? There are quite of few benefits it has going for it. Here is a look at what the player has to offer.
The Reference Chroma Processor Plus technology present in this player allows it to present an incredibly high definition picture. If you are interested in crystal clear clarity when watching a movie, this player will definitely deliver on all your expectations.
The sound quality on this player is equally impressive. You truly will gain a “you are there” experience thanks to the amazing digital surround sound capabilities of this player. Often, it is the audio which can make or break the quality of a Blu-ray player and this device definitely will not disappoint anyone interested in high quality audio performance.
This excellent sound and picture comes in a very small package. The DMP-BD65 only weight 4.2lbs making it the perfect player for those who do not want their device to take up a lot of space but still be capable of delivering on all performane expectations.
Anyone hoping to use their Blu-ray player to view HD camorder video and even digital still pictures will discover this is an excellent model for doing so. All you need to do is slip the memory card into the appropriate slot and hit play. Again, just because it is small in size does not mean it is limited in any way in terms of the performance it is capable of delivering.
One of the more interesting features about Panasonic DMP-BD 65 which can sometimes be overlooked with be the speed in which it starts up. Specifically, the speed is about a half of a second which means as soon as you hit the on button, this device is ready to perform. For some, such a feature is not very important but it really is. The reason is because the immediate startup capabilities reflects the high level of quality that when into its design and manufacturing. This, in turn, means you are getting access to an excellent Blu-ray player which will live up to all performance expectations.
One of the more interesting aspects of the Blu-ray player is you do not even need Blu-ray disks to enjoy watching movies on it. The player comes with a very special feature called VieraCast which allows the player to present streaming video from Amazon on Demand and Netflix. This means you will have complete access to the entire library of both these services and, better yet, when you play selections from the library, they will be presented in crystal clear picture and sound. You also eliminate the need for waiting for your disks to arrive in and mail or having to send them back.
What Other Customers Are Saying
5 Stars sounds really generous, but for the money this is a GREAT Network ready BDP.
This is the third network BDP I have set up and used, I recently reviewed the Samsung BD-P1590 – Blu-Ray disc player – upscaling – Netflix, Pandora against which (for similar money) this is a far superior machine. I also think the picture quality and upscaling for SD DVD’s in much better than the similar priced LG BD 370 Network Blu-ray Disc Player
Overall, I’m pretty impressed. It’s an upgrade from my Sony and loads pretty much any discs I throw at
it: BD, DVD, CD, DV-R, DV-RW, SD.
Above all, though, what impressed me most is that this is priced like a lower-end Blu-Ray player, but has all (or at least most) of the features I’d be looking for in a higher-end player. I’m very impressed. Highly recommended.
There are quite a number of excellent models on the market but the Panasonic DMP-BD 65 really does stand out. It is an exceptional Blu-ray player that performs great and is packed with features. Could you really ask for more in a player? About The Author Jon Morris
This blu ray player is priced pretty low if you take into consideration that other blu ray players with similar features cost twice as much. However, it is always a good idea to try saving money. This is why I spent some time doing price comparison. You can get Panasonic DMP-BD 65 now fo rthe lowest price by CLICKING HERE
