So here is my LG BH200 review. I can still remember when VHS players were in and the only things that were on discs were music and computer software. Once everyone started to make the transition from VHS to DVD, I held my ground for as long as I could. I finally decided to make yet another transition. But by that time I’ve already invested a lot into my DVD library so I opted to get a player that would play both DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. The LG BH200 Super Blu player lets you play your movies with the most optimal clarity and high resolution. It has the ability to convert my regular DVDs into high definition discs. I’ve had the LG BH200 Super Blu player for about a month now and have been very pleased with its performance. No skipping, no glitches, no delayed responses. That is of course until technology makes another advance to where movies will be transferred onto pill size discs called Tablets; in which case I would probably need a tablet player.

But well, I should start with the beginning: For the longest time now, I’ve wanted to get a Blu Ray disc player but a tight budget and not knowing which player is the best held me back from doing so. In the past I played many of my Blu Ray discs on my computer since I had a very sizable 36 inch computer screen. But then eventually I got tired of not being able to watch from the comforts of my comfy living room couch. Also when my friends came over to watch a movie, we either had to settle for regular DVD or squeeze into my little single bed. It wasn’t very comfortable at times as you would have people trying to lie down or sit up or move around, eventually making their way to the floor. Basically it wasn’t a good situation.

It wasn’t until one day, on my birthday, my older brother stopped by with an early gift. We were all suppose to meet up for dinner that evening, so it caught me by surprised that he dropped by sooner. I went ahead and opened it while he was there. Lo and behold, it was a Blu Ray disc player. I almost jumped on top of him with excitement. This meant I didn’t have to spend money or spend hours upon hours trying to choose the right player. He got me the Sony BDP-S780 Blu Ray player because it was compatible with my HDTV. We set it up right away, in hopes that later than night we can all come back and watch a movie on my new player. The set up was quick and only took a few minutes.

BDP-S780 Offers So Many Features – It Is Simply Amazing!
We played around with a lot of its features. And BDP-S780 offers many, many great features! One of my favorite ones would be the Sony Internet TV. It allows me to access to entertainment like hundreds of movies, TV shows, music, online videos and even games. Another thing is that it can convert my 2D DVDs into 3D. How neat is that? The BDP-S780 also lets me connect to the internet with its built in WiFi. Now I don’t have to bring my laptop out of my room every time I want to use the computer while sitting on my couch. I also have the ability to use Skype and video chat with friends and family overseas.

This was really an amazing gift. I didn’t realize how versatile and functional a blu ray player can be. BDP-S780 has so many extra features, that it actually has the possibility of replacing my desk top. Later that night, we came home and watched the entire God Father trilogy (which was also another great birthday gift I received) on my new blu ray player. The picture was so awesome, clear and bright. There was no doubt that it was high resolution.

I purchased a new Sony 3D TV, the BDP-S780 3D Blu Ray player, and Sony 3D Glasses. Together, they work amazing! You have the ability to make any DVD a 3D DVD, although the ones designed for 3D show better. Picture is perfect and video is flawless. The DVD boots up relatively fast and was very easy to set up.
