"Having tested other HD disc players, this techno-freak has come to a concrete conclusion.

I've had this Sony HD B/R disc player for nearly three months and am blown away by it's astounding visual and audio output, all connected via HDMI.

*& it takes alot to impress me.

This bad boy is one of those must have items, in my opinion.

That said, this Sony BDP-S350 Blue Ray Disc player is THE best bang for the buck, hands down. Plus, it's smaller and sleeker than most players in this top class range.

Even if you're on a tight budget, it has everything one will need to just plug and play. Rest assured the true 1080p quality is definitely right there, at all times! Depending on your TV set, settings and the disc(s) you're tying to watch. Blue Ray discs are the best, but the built in up-scaling of regular DVD's and etc, are a huge plus. No doubt about it."

 

"I have had it for one week. Great features, great picture, great experience. On the downside, I connected to my network, it recognized there was an update, but could not download it. I tried many times, it maybe because I have satellite Internet versus DSL or Cable. However I downloaded the update from Sony, uncompressed it, burned an image CD-R, and it installed flawlessly. It would have been better if it could have done it itself over my network, but the 1080p was worth it."
